UK's Only Eye-Level Rookery in Dumfries-shire

Dumfrieshire organic farm and visitor attraction,
Cream o' Galloway's wildlife credentials have received a boost with the publication of their
first ever survey of nesting birds.
The survey recorded 56 species during April, May and June 2007, of which as many as 42 may have successfully reared young.
Graham Smith's detailed report highlighted the diversity of the nature trails and drew attention to
Cream o'Galloway's superb rookery, with which visitors can get 'up close and personal' thanks to the 50 foot tall viewing tower in the adventure playground. This affords
the only opportunity in the UK to observe breeding rooks at eye-level - a treat for wildlife watchers!
