Calling all marine operators! WiSE 2010 Course Dates Announced

Dates for the 2010 WiSE (Wildlife Safe) training and accreditation scheme have been announced. Wild Scotland is running two one-day training courses for marine operators and those organisations and individuals interested in watching marine wildlife.
WiSE (Wildlife Safe) is a UK wide course and accreditation programme for boat operators and offers practical best practice advice on handling a vessel in the vicinity of wildlife. The course also includes information on species ID and the law. Attendance on the course results in a 3-year accreditation to the WiSE scheme.

Tues 16th Feburary: Scottish Seabird Centre, North Berwick: course info

Thurs 18th February: Lochalsh Hotel, Kyle of Lochalsh: course info
The courses cost £30 + VAT per person (supported by Scottish Natural Heritage). The cost includes one day of training, course materials, WISE logo sticker and flag for boat and three years accreditation under the scheme.
The courses start at 10.30am and will be finished by 4.00pm. Numbers at each course are limited so please register early to avoid disappointment.
