Wild Scotland finds Breathing Space at Chatelherault

Over 15,000 people attended the BBC Breathing Places event at Chatelherault Country Park on 4th June 2006 and Wild Scotland were there too to encourage people to get involved with nature and nature conservation.

The event was organised by the BBC as part of their outreach project and tied in with the highly successful ‘Springwatch’ series.

The Wild Scotland stand was ably manned by staff from Bowhill Country Park, Drumlanrig, Cream O’Galloway and Glenholm Wildlife Centre and by all account were run off their feet all day. And a big thank you to everyone who helped make it such a successful event.
