Wildlife Tourism Training for Tourism Staff

Involved in tourism but want to brush up on your wildlife knowledge? Well, this two-day wildlife tourism training course may be for you.

Now in their third year, this popular training programme is aimed at ‘front-line’ tourism staff who often have to answer enquiries from visitors looking to make the most of their visit to Scotland. The number of questions relating to wildlife and nature are increasing and this course is aimed at introducing staff to the wildlife in their area and giving you the confidence to answer questions.

Courses are currently being run in the south of Scotland (see below).

  • 28th – 29th March: Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park
  • 25th – 26th April: Montrose Basin

A new programme has also just been announced for the Highland region. The course locations are anticipated to be:
*    Campbeltown
*    Mull
*    Golspie/Dornoch
*    Inverness
*    Fort William
*    Lerwick
*    Ullapool
*    Barra
