It’s Dawn and Dusk for the Best of Scottish Wildlife

Highland Adventure Safaris, Scotland’s premier Landrover safari company, are pleased to announce the launch of two new safari products that will enable customers to see rare Scottish wildlife at its very best in its natural environment.

Dawn Patrol Safaris offer the opportunity to get up with the lark for an on-road safari to secluded glens and moors where you can see birds and animals as they start their day. This is when they are at their most active, giving great photo opportunities.

Dawn Patrol Safaris leave from the Highland Adventures Safari Lodge at 0600 on Tuesdays – Thursdays, returning at around 0830 to finish off the adventure with a hearty breakfast. Costs are £40 for adults and £25 for children up to age 18, and include a ranger-led Landrover safari, refreshments on the hills, and a full organic Scottish breakfast with locally sourced produce.

Badger Watch Safaris make the most of the last of the evening light to head for a viewing area on a secluded glen hillside where you can watch reclusive badgers frolic and forage amongst the bracken and bluebells. All you need is suitable outdoor clothing, patience and the ability to sit quietly for a couple of hours.

Badger Watch Safaris leave at 1900 and return at around 2200. They are available Wednesdays – Fridays. Costs are £35 for adults and £20 for children aged up to 18 and include a glass of wine and other refreshments.

Both Dawn Patrol Safaris and Badger Watch Safaris are only available during May and June. Both Safaris leave from the Highland Adventures Safari Lodge near Aberfeldy in Perthshire.

Pre-booking is essential to guarantee places as numbers are limited to minimise disruption to the wildlife.
