Join in the Fun at ‘Our Wee Planet Festival’

Visit the Scottish Seabird Centre on the May Bank Holiday weekend (1st  – 4th May) and join in the fun  at the Our Wee Planet Festival.

The festival is one event within the John Muir Odyssey Homecoming Festival. This is linked into the Scotland-wide event, the Year of Homecoming.

A fantastic event with something for everyone. The festival is free, but some individual events are ticketed and places are limited. Below is just a glimpse of what’s on. You can download the full programme of event below.

·         “The Shindig by the Sea” – Scottish Ceilidh, featuring the Infamous Grouse Ceilidh Band, taking place in a giant marquee at North Berwick Harbour, 1st May – Tickets £12 (£10.50 for members) – advance booking from our shop or by calling 01620 890202

·         Our Wee Planet Festival, an exciting free 3 day Homecoming festival by the sea, with live music, storytelling, puppet shows, sand sculptures, talks and walks –  2nd to 4th May, Scottish Seabird Centre – Entry is free, but some individual events may be charged

·         The Man Who Planted Trees – Edinburgh Festival sell-out puppet show – 2nd May performances 11.30amd an 2pm. Tickets £7.50 Adult (£6.50 members) and £5 children (£4 members) – advance booking from our Shop or by calling 01620 890202

·         Muir’s World by Land and Sea – led by expert guides – a spectacular four hour return boat trip to Dunbar via the Bass Rock and guided walk around Dunbar to some of John Muir’s favourite haunts – 1st to 4th May – Tickets £33 adult and £26 children (£27 and £23.40 for members) – advance booking from our shop or by calling 01620 890202

·         Creative Visions of Nature – art and sculpture exhibition at the Scottish Seabird Centre, 24 April to 26 July (free to members and with admission to the Discovery Centre)
