Eye Spy with my little eye, butterflies, dragonflies, wildflowers and birds!

Cream o’Galloway is encouraging people to discover butterflies, dragonflies, wildflowers and birds by taking part in a free event called ‘Eye Spy’, part of Scotland’s Wildlife Week. Organised by the Scottish Wildlife Trust, Wildlife Week takes place from 6th – 14th June and Eye Spy is one of 230 wildlife events and activities taking place across Scotland.

Helen Fenby of Cream o’Galloway said “WWildlife Week is all about encouraging families to discover and enjoy Scotland’s wildlife, and we are delighted to be taking part.  Eye Spy will take our nature detectives through the woods, into fields and alongside the wildlife ponds at Cream o’Galloway, a walk of around 2 miles, and we’ll have a local Scottish Wildlife Trust representative on hand to help us identify all the species.

“We have had some fantastic wildlife events so far this year, so we have high hopes that our nature detectives will help us spot some really exciting wildlife finds.”

Eye Spy takes place on Sunday 14th June at 2pm and is free of charge.
