Round the Coast Run

The Round the Coast of Britain Run is coming to Scotland soon. Inspired by Eddie Izzard’s marathon (literally) feat of 43 marathons in 52 days, the run is set to be a relay of runners covering the coast of the UK. The race starts in Blackpool on 9th May and heads north to Scotland.

Wild Scotland member, the Dunnet Head Educational Trust are welcoming runners to the most northerly point of the trip.

The dates for the run to date are:
Blackpool to Gretna – 9th-16thMay
Gretna to Stranraer – 16th-23rd May
Stranraer to Ayr – 23rd – 30th May
Ayr to Tobermory – 30th May -6th June
Tobermory to Ullapool –  6th -13th June
Ullapool to Durness – 13th-20th June
Durness to Wick – 20th-27th June
Wick to Aberdeen – 27th June – 4th July
Aberdeen To Edinburgh – 4th-11th July
Edinburgh to South Shields – 11th-18th July
