Get Walking for Wildlife! Join the Pod Plod

The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society (WDCS) are challenging people to get active this summer and join them on the fund-raising ‘Pod Plod’.

The two day walk cover 26 miles of the Moray Coastal Trail from Findhorn Bay to Spey Bay. There will be plenty of opportunities to try and catch a glimpse of the famous bottlenose dolphins of the Moray Firth along the way.

The challenge takes place on 26th and 27th August 2010 and will be led by WDCS’s Protect Our Dolphins Campaign Leader, Sarah Dolman and WDCS’s Scottish Conservation Officer, Alice Pope.

Included in the trip is a wildlife-watching boat trip, accommodation and a Pod Plod T-shirt, plus lots more!

For more information, go to the Pod Plod website.

WDCS has two visitor centres in Scotland, one at Spey Bay in Moray and the other just north of Inverness at North Kessock.
