Gain an insight into the secret world of the grey seals on the Isle of May in this fascinating illustrated talk by Dr Paddy Pomeroy from the Sea Mammal Research Unit (SMRU) at University of St Andrews. The Isle of May seal colony is the largest on the east coast of Britain and one of two key sites for researchers studying behaviour and population biology of grey seals.
The Scottish Seabird Centre is working with SMRU in a new research project looking into the changes that are happening in how seals use the North Sea for foraging and breeding.
