North Highland ‘Springle’
Where: Lairg Community Hall, Lairg, Sutherland

We all know that many visitors traveling to the North Highlands are either touring or are hub exploring i.e. based in one place and traveling out daily to see the sights, often over major distances. Our ‘Springle’, a Spring Mingle coffee morning on Friday 9th March at Lairg Community Hall aims to help attractions, accommodation providers and activity providers share business opportunities and ideas and network with each other and is a great chance for you to inform Tourism businesses, some who may be outwith your local catchment, of new features, opening times, events etc that you have planned for 2012. Accommodation providers need to know the best places to direct visitors to and where to stop along the way? What’s more if they have new staff on board this season then they also need to be brought up to speed to sell the area.
There will be no formal presentations but a series of areas where guests can meet and network. The event is free to attend. You are free to come along just as an attendee or get involved in one of the proposed areas which are Nature & Wildlife, History, Heritage & Culture, Food & Drink or Active & Adventure.
If you wish to attend, we would recommend that 1 or maybe 2 of you attend, along with some marketing literature to allow you to promote your business.
