Scot Mountain Holidays launches as a new brand & website for home stay adventure travel.

Scot Mountain Holidays logoFrom their base at Boat of Garten in the Cairngorms National Park, Andy Bateman and Rebecca Field announced the launch of Scot Mountain Holidays, the new name for their successful holiday company which provides homestay adventure holidays to individuals, couples and families.

Guests stay in their family home. All food is home prepared with guests being welcomed back from their wild adventures with home baked cakes and tea and followed by a home prepared evening meal where Rebecca sources most of the ingredients from her own garden or locally.

The new website has been developed to make it easy for guests to find the right trip with a new grading system for each trip from easy to extreme and an online booking system that will keep the guest informed in the run up to their trip. Scot Mountain Holidays pride themselves on their departure guarantee: once a booking has been accepted they guarantee the holiday will run no matter how many people are booked on.

Director and Guide Andy Bateman says “we are very excited to be moving the business into this next phase. We now have over 14 years of running successful adventure holidays, and by combining adventure activities and living with the locals, we can offer a deeply immersive and authentic way of experiencing this fantastic country.

“The homestay market is now recognised as an affordable way to intimately experience an area. We can now really define the direction we are going in with our focus remaining on providing a home stay style experience for all our customers coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the mountains and local natural environment.”

The next big trip for Andy and the team is Winter Skills Course centred around Hogmanay where guests are treated to the finest New Year Celebrations that Scot Mountain Holidays can offer including winter mountains, home cooking and a hogmanay ceilidh.
