Mull Eagle Watch retained its 5* rating as an “exceptional wildlife experience”

Mull Eagle Watch has successfully retained its VisitScotland 5* rating as an “exceptional wildlife experience” and is due to open its doors to the Mull Eagle Hide on Monday 31 March. From the ‘woodland den’ deep in Forestry Commission Scotland’s Glen Seilisdeir forest, you can get unrivalled views and photographic opportunities of the resident pair of adult white-tailed eagles at their nest. The male, 17 year old Fingal and his mate, 16 year old Iona are busy repairing the nest after this winter’s severe storms.

The RSPB, SNH and Police Scotland will all be ensuring they are safe from disturbance once egg laying commences and all income from visitors to the Eagle Hide goes back to the Mull & Iona Community Trust to help fund local projects and good causes on Mull and Iona. To book a ranger-led trip Monday to Friday at 10am or 1pm call 01680 812 556. Adults £8. Children £4. Family of 2ads/2kids special £20.
