Free Familiarisation Trip for Scottish Borders Tourism Businesses

Thursday 21st August

Southern Uplands Partnership, Scottish Natural Heritage and Scottish Borders Council would like to invite tourism business owners and their staff to a memorable day out to celebrate the launch of the Scottish Borders “Explore for a Day” itineraries. Explore for a Day Itineraries have been created for many regions of Scotland to help showcase each areas unique natural and cultural heritage sites.

The day will allow you to meet and network with fellow tourism providers from the Borders area and to experience some of the fantastic heritage sites to be found in the Central Borders.

They have an exciting day’s programme lined up that includes guided tours of the following: Abbotsford House, Scott’s View, Temple of the Muses, Smailholm Tower and Kelso Abbey. To end the day there is the change to take a fly casting lesson on the banks of the Tweed with experts from Fishpal. Throughout the day you will be treated to refreshments and a fantastic lunch made entirely from local produce.

The attached flier outlines the exciting itinerary. Spaces are limited to 20 so please book yours at the Eventbrite page by clicking here. (max 2 spaces per business)

Hope your lucky in securing your spot!
