Scotland’s Big Nature Festival is returning to East Lothian’s premier birding hotspot this spring. The two-day event, which is organised by RSPB Scotland, is being held at Levenhall Links in Musselburgh on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May. Visitors will be treated to a packed programme of wildlife talks, workshops, guided walks, bird-ringing demonstrations and a seabird cruise, as well as exciting activities like pond-dipping and bug-hunting for the kids!
Home to birds like curlews, oystercatchers and sand martins, as well as a host of butterflies, bumblebees and brown hares, Levenhall Links has been specifically created from reclaimed land for the benefit of wildlife. Take a stroll along the coast or through the woodland before joining us on the reserve for a fun-fuelled day outdoors. Take in some live music, tantalise your taste buds with scrumptious local food and drink and check out some of the 100+ exhibitors to inspire you about wildlife.
Book early to take advantage of the half price early bird ticket offer (T’s and C’s apply).
Scotland’s Big Nature Festival is now in its fifth consecutive year, with more than 6,000 visitors attending the event in 2015. The site can be accessed easily by bus, rail, car and bike.
