Cycle Tourism Strategy Scottish Borders – take part in the consultation
Following the development of a draft Cycle Tourism Strategy, Scottish Borders Council is encouraging all those with an interest in cycle tourism to take part in the consultation on the document. The input of businesses, organisations, residents and cyclists will contribute towards the final strategy. The purpose of this document is to set out a proposed five-year strategy for cycle tourism in the Borders until 2021.
Anyone wishing to comment on the draft strategy should either visit www.scotborders.gov.uk/cycletourismstrategy, or provide comments directly to Neen Kelly, Cycling Co-ordinator, Scottish Borders Council by email up until Friday 16 September.
As part of the consultation exercise a Scottish Borders Cycle Tourism Workshop, exploring key issues and opportunities, will take place on Tuesday 23 August from 2.30-4.30pm at Ettrick Riverside, Selkirk.
