Glenloy Wildlife was established in 2007 and is based in Glenloy Lodge, a former hunting lodge, scenically positioned overlooking the Nevis Range, and conveniently close to Fort William. Pine martens visit the Lodge every evening, where they pose for photographers whilst enjoying their tea. Glenloy Wildlife offer the chance to spot a wide range of Scottish animals and plants – even the elusive Scottish Wildcat and rare Chequered Skipper butterfly have been seen in the garden! They explore the wonderfully varied region of Lochaber and adjacent parts of the West Highlands while also venturing a little further east to the Cairngorms and Moray Firth, as seasons change and different wildlife opportunities arise. A boat trip to look for marine wildlife in the Inner Hebrides is usually a feature of all full week holidays. On all-inclusive wildlife holidays Glenloy Wildlife provide comfortable en-suite accommodation. home cooked meals that can be adapted to all dietary requirements, and tours allowing up to only 8 guests, which makes visitors feel like part of a family. If you don’t fancy a full week, shorter breaks, including pine marten stays, and a range of day trips, safaris and evening pine marten viewing are also available.

In 2017 Glenloy Wildlife will be celebrating their 10th anniversary. Ten years in the area has given them an excellent insight into where and when to find local wildlife, and they’re sure to share their knowledge about anything that is spotted! Prices have been kept the same for their anniversary year so now is the perfect time to book a holiday. For example, in July 2017 they are offering a full week of summer wildlife watching focusing on rare butterflies and dragonflies. Later in September a unique whisky and wildlife week  is offered for just £850. Details of these and all other holidays can be found on their website
