Wild West Winter
With fresh, frosty mornings, snow covered landscapes, sunset and sunrise at civilised times, clear starry skies and the possibility of a glimpse of the northern lights, winter is a truly amazing time of year to visit the Scottish highlands. And our wildlife doesn’t go away. Otters and eagles are as active as ever, the deer come down from the hills, seals are immune to the cold and contrary to popular belief squirrels don’t hibernate!
Wild West are open all year so join us to photograph the red deer, learn how and where to look for otters, join a searchlight safari or just come and hunt for the “Big Five”. Or if you have a relative or loved one who is a wildlife fanatic, how about a Wild West Gift voucher, whether for Christmas, birthday or other special occasion? Vouchers can be bought and bookings made online at www.wildwest.scot or contact ian@wildwest.scot for further information
