Capercaillie Escapes

Winter might have been lingering this year, but that’s no bad thing – it means getting into the great outdoors to enjoy winter sports, beautiful scenery and wonderful walking trails.  And you don’t have to travel far – within just an or so of our two main cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow there’s great access to Perthshire, the Scottish Borders and our two wonderful National Parks here in Scotland (Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, and to the north the Cairngorms).  Returning to a cosy B&B or country inn in the evening it’s great to enjoy some good Scottish food and drink alongside a roaring fire with friends and family.

With glimpses of Spring flowers in the garden and longer days of sunshine just around the corner we’re also excited about the months ahead and the guests we’ll be meeting for their own tour of Scotland.  With many adventures already in the diary we’ve been enjoying creating a variety of different packages – family holidays full of activity, dog-friendly breaks with top trails to help tire them out, honeymoon escapes for those seeking both relaxation and adventure, and wildlife and photography experiences too.  At Capercaillie Escapes we’re here to help you plan out a unique adventure to help you explore Scotland your way. Simply get in touch with Jane for more information if you would like to come and visit Scotland.
