Balmoral Estate Ranger Service
Luxury Land Rover Safaris pass through the manicured parkland of Balmoral Castle up into pristine Caledonian Pine Forest and finally out onto the open moorland at the foot of Lochnagar. Typical species on view will include birds of prey, red squirrel, red and roe deer and red grouse with the possibility of seeing shier species such as black grouse and osprey. You will be informed of the history of Balmoral and also the conservation management that is underway to help conserve and enhance the biodiversity of the Estate. We provide a range of guided walks for a range of abilities and interest.
