North Highland Tourism Association

The North Highland Tourism Association is a trade-led tourism development group who promote the North Highlands as a world tourist destination (focusing on increasing high-value tourism rather than high volume), and to increase number of visits, length of stay and average spend throughout the year.

The North Highland Tourism Marketing project aims to drive growth in volume and value of the North Highlands tourism market ahead of the national targets through raising the awareness of the region as a destination and the rich experience it has to offer visitors. This will be achieved through a mix of ‘stand alone’ marketing initiatives and those undertaken with partners such as VS Highlands all based around the “North Highlands Scotland – Pleasure in the Extreme” brand.
