Wild Scotland 2013 Conference Means Business
Wild Scotland’s annual industry conference with the theme of ‘The Business of Adventure’ is set to be the best conference yet.
The one day conference, which will be held on 27th November at Perth Concert Hall, aims to bring everyone involved with the adventure tourism sector in Scotland together to share ideas, network and be inspired by great speakers.
This year, the association, which celebrates the beginning of it’s 10th year in October, is delighted to announce Daniel Robb, Head of Travel at Google as the keynote speaker.
Other speakers will tackle:
- Should Scotland have more National Parks?
- How important are nature and adventure to Scotland’s tourism industry?
The afternoon session comprises workshops on topics such as:
- What an operator needs to know about package travel?
- Wild Scotland Day of Adventure in 2014
- Planning for the Future of your Business
Wild Scotland Chair, Stevie Christie commented, “the Wild Scotland conference has grown year after year and we aim to offer first class informative and inspiring speakers throughout the day, providing a valuable networking event for the industry.
“Adventure tourism continues to out-perform other sectors in Scotland and we continue to champion the sector’s importance. I would therefore encourage everyone who has an interest in the continuing success of adventure tourism in Scotland to attend and join the discussion. It’ll be a great day.”
