The Wild Lochaber Festival is an annual event designed to celebrate the amazing landscapes, geology and wildlife of the Outdoor Capital of the UK. In 2016 the Festival is being co-ordinated by The Lochaber Geopark Association. Activities include guided walks, wildlife cruises, geology tours, land-river safaris, seashore events, wildlife talks, wildlife encounters, island tours, water sports and bushcraft. Events range from a few hours to day long/weekend events. The majority of the shorter events are under £20, with many being free.

A great opportunity for walking, wildlife and adventure set amidst the stunning scenery of the West Highlands.
The 2016 Wild Lochaber Festival runs from 21st to 29th May and will be launched from the Lochaber Geopark Visitor Centre on the High Street in Fort William.
