Magnificent Mull with Aquila Ecology
Date: Saturday 30th May – 4th June 2020

We will spend 5 days on the inner Hebridean island of Mull so we can witness some fantastic Scottish spring wildlife.

We will be based near Fionnphort in the southwest of the island close to Iona. From here, we will go out for full excursions around the island with an optional boat tour to see some of the island’s White-tailed Sea Eagles up close or a trip to visit the Treshnish Islands, Fingal’s Cave and the seabird colony with the chance of whales and dolphins whilst at sea.

We will visit and explore various sites around the island taking in beautiful beaches, moorland, hills and lochs. Our itinerary will be flexible depending on weather and information received from local birders.

Target Species: White-tailed Eagle, Golden Eagle, Hen Harrier, Short-eared Owl, Corncrake, Manx Shearwater, Puffin, Gannet, Guillemot, Razorbill, Merlin, Minke Whale, Common Dolphin, Bottlenose Dolphin, Harbour Porpoise, Common Seal and Grey Seal.

Price: £800.00 per person based on sharing a twin or double en-suite room.

The price includes ferry, boat trip and all meals and transport whilst on the island. Local pickup can be arrangement by prior agreement, otherwise meet at Oban ferry terminal.
